Phase 2 Topping Out Celebrated

On a rather cold, blustery and very wet day on 7th December 2017, Riduna Holdings celebrated the topping out of Phase 2 of Riduna Park, along with Norson Construction (who have built the site), Concertus Property Design and Consultants (the site Quantity Surveyors) and Poole and Pattle (Riduna Park designers).

Clare Perkins, Woodbridge Town Mayor, was on hand to sign the last piece of wooden board to be fitted to the third building in Phase 2 of the Riduna Park building project. Traditionally a topping out ceremony is laying the final piece of roof on a building, but due to the weather conditions and the nature of the building it was decided it best to sign the last piece of board that would make the third building of Phase 2 watertight.

Attendees to the event were Suffolk Coastal District Council, Melton and Woodbridge Town Council Members, current and future occupiers, business leaders and individuals who have helped progress the site to where it is now. The delicious food was provided by the on site Coffee Shop, Honey + Harvey.

Katie Emerson, who has been running the project thanked everyone for attending and said how proud she was of the project team for  what they have achieved together.
