Bayeux Mosaic at Riduna Park

Unit 2 of Riduna Park is to temporarily house the Medieval Mosaic, created by Michael Linton.

The Mosaic is a complete re-creation of the Bayeux Tapestry, with and additional section depicting the Battles of Fulford and Stamford Bridg. It is made out of 3 million pieces of steel and 64 metres long. It took Michael 33 years to complete, and he has even hidden a mathematical puzzle within it.

The exhibition will be in Unit 2 from 18th December 2017 through to March 4th 2018.
